Can only speak to the Suns' 30-point rout on Tuesday, but that game was tight throughout the first half and Phoenix just obliterated the Mavs in a six-minute stretch to open the third quarter.

I don't know what the hell happened to Golden State last night. Getting rocked like that when the other team is missing its superstar is just odd.

Good luck to anyone trying to wager on these NBA playoffs. I have no idea what’s going to happen on a night-to-night basis.

Sportscenter had WNBA highlights. WNBA? What are they doing playing now. NHL and NBA playoffs are on. MLB, College baseball and softball too. Who’s watching WNBA?

When are they supposed to play? Condense the entire season to six weeks in July and August? As it is, the season is short compared to most sports.

Unless you’re a hard core WNBA fan, the sports fan isn’t choosing to watch WNBA instead of NBA NHL playoffs. They can play June July August. They can play 40 games in 90 days. And the playoffs would Tuesday thru Friday nights in September.

Interesting that the Washing Post prints the box scores of NBA and NHL games, with attendance figures. But their WNBA box scores omit attendance. Agenda?

The "sports fan" probably isn't choosing to watch the WNBA anyway. In June they're up against the NBA Finals and Stanley Cup Final. In August, football dominates the news cycle the second training camps open and preseason games start. I honestly can't understand why you're offended by them playing. The WNBA has a niche audience. I mean, you're talking about college softball, which is as niche as it gets and only starts to get a more significant audience once they get to OKC for the WCWS. College baseball? Super fucking niche. As for the WNBA being on SportsCenter, ESPN has a stake in televising the league. This isn't hard, man.

The players cry poverty, they want charted flights not commercial, they want their season salary to cover the entire year. Until the 70’s baseball and football players had regular jobs in the off season, superstars too. WNBA isn’t growing their sport, but they seem to think its a big deal. Who gets more paid fans in the stands. WNBA or MLS?

Is there any group, aside from Jewish people, for which you don’t show open contempt?

You aren't bitching about ESPN showing a WNBA game instead of the NBA playoffs. You're bitching about highlights of an WNBA game. Highlights. Who the fuck cares if they show highlights of a WNBA game on a highlight roundup show? Good God, man, get over yourself.

ESPN shows WNBA games - it is in their interest to make the WNBA "newsworthy." See also Fox and the USFL. One of the things I like about the Dan Patrick Show is that it is the rare "independent" voice on sports radio. Yes, he is carried on FSR - but he still owns his own show so he doesn't have to say Tom Brady will be great for Fox Sports or suddenly realize - like ESPN that the WNBA is relevant or the Stanley Cup playoffs are on.
