I get what you're saying... but that's a pretty tall order. You've got three guys who strictly do studio stuff and they suddenly have to take over the broadcast, watching on monitors in a studio. And not for nothing, the guys on the floor were largely bench players for the T-Wolves and Grizzlies. It's hard as hell to do play by play when you can't immediately recognize the guys playing. Working a monitor I think they did as well as you could expect.

I get this, honest. It was a very difficult situation. But I don't think they rose to it, let alone above it. And the main fault is the on-site production. For the world's most famous (rightly) production company, that's a big black eye.

Probably not a great sign for the Nuggets that Steph looks like trash so far and the Warriors are still up 11 at the half.

Warriors go up by 20 after 3 and now Boogie two quick Ts for mouthing off to the ref. Denver not long for this one.

Jokic lead the Nuggets this year in points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals. Does anyone know the last guy to lead a team in all five statistical categories?

Giannis. 16-17. LeBron did it twice.

Celtics not wearing the home whites in the playoffs on Easter is a curse they won’t over come.

That did not look like a first round playoff game.

Not thrilled with Brooklyn's olé defense on Brown and the "Kyrie iso or nuthin'" possession but that last possession by Boston wouldn't have happened months ago. Smart would have put on his cape to launch a three and flop or it never would have gotten that far as it would have been Tatum killing clock for a contested 22' fadeaway.

Nets don’t have a plan other than a simple pick and roll.

That is a deadly accurate description of the pre -1/15/22 Celtics. But of course, that gang wouldn't even have made the play-ins.
