    "He's got the areolas!"

"We got to talk about nipples, we got to talk about yam bags..."

Straight outta the Gordon Solie and Gorilla Monsoon handbooks of commentary.

Claudio getting a pop bigger at United Center than no one not named CM Punk.

And his theme -- a rock-infused take on the 1812 Overture -- is amazing.

I guess there's not much to slow things down on this card, but I'm surprised they're going with the IWGP and AEW title matches back-to-back.

And they built the IWGP title up like it's bigger than the AEW one with the way they talked during the intros.

That's one thing I like about AEW -- they let 'em have two names if they want.

Or let them have the names they've become famous with. Is there any wrestler on the roster with an AEW-created name?

So we have Bryan Danielson (who hates Eddie Kingston) replaced by Claudio Castagnoli (who hates Eddie Kingston). At least it was a seamless transition.

    Observer from June 27:

    - Johnny Ace is on paid leave, effective June 20, while they investigate complaints against him. Bruce Prichard was elevated to Head of Talent Relations as a result, while also still being #2 in creative behind Vince. Prichard is less popular in the back than Johnny Ace, somehow, so it wasn't received well. Ace is apparently open to talking and approachable at least, whereas Prichard is not. Regardless, Vince is still running creative.

    - Andrew Luck's dad reached a settlement with Vince over his XFL firing. It is believed that he "settled" for close to the $24M he was owed on his contract. Vince finally caved because it was going to trial soon, and he didn't want to be in the news for two different negative things.

    - Lesnar is subbing in for Orton in the main event picture, because Orton needs back surgery. Rhea Ripley is also out through July 2 at least, likely because of a bad concussion.

    - Amazingly, TNA / Impact celebrated its 20th anniversary. It's still limping along on PPV and AXS TV. Attendance for the show was 526. Sting and Styles had taped segments.

    - John Morrison subbed for Jeff Hardy in AAA, wrestling with Matt Hardy under the name... Johnny Hardy.

    - Dewey Foley left WWE Creative in April.

    - Ratings for all WWE shows were up, likely because of Vince's scandal.

So I guess we can add Adam Cole to the list of A-list wrestlers that are injured. Reading that he got a concussion last night, which led to a clunky finish in the four-way with Okada, Hangman and Jay White.
So on the AEW side, the injured list includes: Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, Adam Cole, Jungle Boy
On the WWE side you have: Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Big E, Rhea Ripley
And that's not even counting some of the mid-carders like Rick Boogs, people who are out for other reasons like Jeff Hardy, and some others with minor injuries that will only keep them out for a couple of weeks. At this rate both companies might try to steal the Flair retirement match from Crockett, just so they'll have something to put on their next PPV.
