2022 Pro Wrestling Thread

Kind of sounds like they need to bring in more of a "grown up" type, or, to cut a bunch of the unruly personalities. (I'm not sure if the former even exists, to be honest.) Given that the buck stopped with Vince in WWE, it's not a problem that org often dealt with, although the downside of that is that everything was to Vince's taste, for better or worse.

 

Wow it turns out having writers and a boss is actually a good thing for a wrestling company!! Who wooda thunk

They should consult JR about how to build a sports background locker room with people who function as teammates. What they have now is a buncha people functioning as diva rock n roll concert types

 

Tony Kahn is the worst possible combination of Vince Russo and Eric Bischoff.

 

I see Triple H cleaned up a little more of the Vince stench and sent Veer back to NXT to reunite his old tag team.

 

Dang I’m loving this territories show already.

 

Count this as one I would NEVER have been among the "everybody" who loves the Acclaimed.

By February they're going to have Jericho and Moxley wrestling two-hour matches against each other because they're the only two not suspended.

 

FTR and the ROH crew seem to be keeping their noses clean.

 

Except FTR apparently has been griping a bit about not being used enough on AEW TV.

 

RIGHTFULLY SO!!!

(And it’s weird Sammy gets into a backstage brawl and still gets to main event. He should be sent home too.)

 

For some reason I love the little quirk of history that Chris Jericho has been the WCW and Ring of Honor champion while wrestling for neither promotion at the time he was champion.
