Another epic with Sheamus and Gunther, but I could've done without the ending.

 

Ok, I’ve been watching wrestling for 37 years and know that it’s a show and predetermined and all that.

But I’m pissed though. Gunther/Walter FUCKING TAPPPED OUT!!!!

Lady Ref Jessica is cool and all, but I haven’t been this pissed off at a ref since Danny Davis.

 

I didn't like it either, but apparently the double tap (short of being a triple or more tap for a submission) is actually a real thing in MMA called the Brazilian tap.

Is the "Brazilian tap" a legit way to win in MMA or a line never to be crossed?

 

Ugh. They could've just given Dark Order a feel-good moment and been done with it?

 

Pac winning back-to-back matches with the hammer for the ring bell? Who the hell thought that was a good payoff?

 

Something weird is happening on this Battle of the Belts - aside from FTR actually being on AEW TV. They aren't using the hard camera located on the side of the ring. They keep switching between the cameras down the floor and only hit the hard sideline camera on closeups of wrestlers' faces. No wide shots of the action. I wonder if some fan is holding up a sign they don't want shown on TV or something.

 

I’d never heard of a tap-out having to be three taps before. If that’s their storyline explanation, you just know people are going to find clips of one or two taps being a tap out.

 

Really weird they couldnt find a spot for Lashley on this card

I wonder what goes on last? The belair ladder match? Balor Edge? Or does whatever’s happening with wyatt/rabbit close the night?

 

Damn. Sheamus is as white (or milky as Santino might say) hot as he's been in his entire career.

 

I'd rather see Gritty in a grudge match than Logan Paul.

 

Whether or not we go off the air with the bunny stuff, I'd expect the final match to be either the women's ladder, or the fight pit.
