I don’t think he has the patience for a rebuild type situation. But I’ve been wrong many times.

 

Living rent-free in their heads. Love to see it.

 

Blues so pissed at Kadri they decide to concede the series to make that point.

 

Avs give it right back and it’s one goal going into third. If Blues can stay focused, they can even this series.

BTW, TNT guys compared Kadri to Marchand. I can get behind that.

 

No chance.

Shouldn’t they throw water bottles on the ice instead of hats?

 

Driving home, listening to the game I somehow was listening to the Blues feed, good lord is that painful. When the 5 on 3 happened the PxP guy was stunned that Kadri didn’t get a penalty. I came home to watch the replay expecting to see a missed called or something that would remotely resemble a missed call, nothing. Kadri has these guys and coaching staff so far off their game it’s ridiculous.

 

Throw out the penalty kill and that was just a humiliation.

 

I was listening to the Avs broadcast for Game 3 driving home from the airport, I specifically went old fashioned radio because I didn't want the Blues team on Sirius, and they went crazy about a non call right before the Blues scored their second goal. Like insane pissed. I got home and found no real commentary on that.

Hockey announcers must be a special kind of homers. I love the Avs team. Their enthusiasm is crazy fun, but they are nowhere near objective.

 

I find most local broadcast crews spend as much or more time bitching about the refs than describing and analyzing the game.
