Sorry, you are forgetting the flop, like he was thrown to the ground.

One of the Celtics' biggest problems came in the post-game assessment by Kristaps Porzingis. "Even though we lost, this was a great game for us." I think he meant it was a learning experience, but his poor choice of words reflects the basic Celtics state of mind. They live in a cloud of 90-proof self-esteem. That's why Tatum takes those shots. He's SURE they're going in.

For a guy who can get to the basket at will (especially when he's allowed to create space with his off-arm), the difference between Good Tatum and Bad Tatum heavily relies on whether he's making his threes. I mean, no shit guys will shoot worse in losses, but he's drifted from far above-average positive variation in wins to far below-average variation in losses.

Tatum's basketball idol is pretty famously Kobe Bryant, and it rears its ugly head in end of game moments.

Sitting at 59, and he's been out for five minutes. He might not return.

    He got to 70.

Hit 24/41 from the field and 21/23 from the line.

    Eighteen boards, too.

NBA has been nothing but town-team basketball for several years now.
I’d pay folding money to see someone play 3 possessions in a row in a full-court press.

Didn't see the game, but it sounded like KAT was just chucking up shots at the end, allowing Charlotte to get back into the game and eventually win.
