    That was a bad loss.

Weirdly there’s a scenario this works out better. Lakers win, Suns lose and OKC gets the 1 seed. Kings are hurt and sliding. Suns have been hot garbage. Warriors are still 9-2 over their last 11. Kings fall to Dubs because they don’t have the weapons. Lakers beat Suns who get red hot (even if inconsistent) Warriors. Dubs get by and avoid Denver, Minnesota and the Lakers until the Conference Finals.

I do like the fact that every Eastern team is playing the 82nd game today at 1 and every Western team at 3:30.

I think hot garbage is an overstatement regarding the Suns. They've won six of their last nine, which were all against playoff teams. Beat the Pelicans, Kings, Wolves, Nuggets and Cavs during that run. They're inconsistent, but not hot garbage.

Almost all. 15 teams in each conference so you need one crossover: Pistons at Spurs at 3:30. Otherwise, yes, I like how they did that.

I stand behind my exaggerated position where I looked at nothing and jumped to a conclusion.

Good catch. I guess that the NBA correctly figured that they wouldn’t be contending for anything this year.

It might have been important for lottery odds - could have had the sequel to the infamous 2006 Minnesota-Memphis game, where Mark Madsen went 0-for-7 from 3, and Eddie Griffin played 53 minutes because the Wolves only had three frontcourt players suited up.

Hot garbage Suns (tm) taking care of business and getting plenty of help from Lakers.

Looks like Suns 6 will avoid play-in if score holds (best case for them) and will avoid Denver in round 1 (again if score holds)

    Pels will host Lakers
    Kings host Dubs

OKC will get No. 1 seed thanks to an absolute tank job by the Mavs.

Knicks taken to OT by the Bulls to leap over the tanking Bucks and the reward is the winner of Sixers-Heat instead of the Pacers

I like the Suns’ chances in a Minnesota series. Just wanted to avoid the play-in and Denver, looks like both will happen.

This has worked out beautifully for the Suns. Great performance today.
