2023 Atlantic Hurricane Season Running Thread

It's almost like the climate isn't the same as it used to be.

 

Gee, you think? I wonder what causes stuff like that to happen.

 

I'm seeing there was a 5 up in the Ojai area.

 

USGS calling it a 5.1 near Ojai. Not nothing but certainly better than a 6

 

You can have our hurricanes, but we do not want your earthquakes in exchange.

 

Waiting for the rain of toads and a plague of locusts to show up.

 

And CNN goes to regular programming? Off to the Weather Channel.

 

C'mon, not even WWL 870 will break programming for a mere TS and it's a flip of the pirogue for a big Cat 1.

 

Much like I brush off any quake below 3.0.

 

So it's something that happens every 80 years or so and we're right on schedule?

 

Too bad the writers and actors are both on strike or "Hurriquake" would be airing on SyFy on Labor Day weekend.
