    As mentioned before, the areas east and north of the Cajon and San Gorgonio passes are where this thing is going to cause damage. It's moving at a good clip so it's a February rain event in the I.E. and elsewhere. Though I'm sure the surf is way up.

    At least the Weather Channel dude knows how to pronounce Yucaipa.

    Big fan of the Idyllwild-Pine Cove area. The 243 was closed off for months in 2019 coming up from Banning due to a rockslide. Don't want a repeat. At the same time, though, fire season was rough a few years ago. I believe the two were related.
