Small amount of up-to-the-dripline ponding in the garden at my home that I had to get out in the soaking rain to drain clear but that actually all served to make the first rain at our new home quite memorable.

Flights were landing from the west which makes for great listening on the ATC scanner app too.

Lots of rain in the I.E. where my brother is at. My nephew is outside of Palm Springs but all seem to have come away unscathed. Lots of flooding elsewhere, as noted up in the hills like Yucaipa and Oak Glen.

That depression in the gulf (future Harold) is going to make a beeline for SoCal after crossing the RGV. As if SoCal needed any more rain.

Never got really bad in my area of O.C. Wind was kicking up pretty good when I went to bed around midnight. Some of the plants around the house don't look great this morning.

I can only speak for Long Beach area, but that thing was a nothingburger. Your mileage may vary.
The "hurricane" was at best breezy for an hour.

Looks like Harold will come ashore in the King Ranch area of the coast, which is populated with nothing but cows. It should be a beneficial rainmaker for the RGV ā€” they've been in extreme drought.
