Huston Street and Bronson Arroyo received votes for the Hall of Fame. As did Mike Napoli.

Surprised Andruw Jones hasn’t made it.

Saw a stat that there are just 5 guys with 400 homers and 10 gold gloves. The first 4 are in the HOF. Andruw is not.

Those numbers are very interesting for next year with Beltre being a lock and what the opinion will be of Mauer.

Helton is going to go in but Wagner has only two cracks left…..he might stall out with the heavy hitters coming

Every time I hear Mike Napoli’s name, I hear “That’s Amore” in my head. Often that’s because I start singing it.

Wagner's going to make it. As long as the electorate remains mostly the same, numbers-wise (went from 394 to 389 this year), he only needs to gain another 30-35 votes to get in. Between newer voters generally voting for more candidates and being more open to non-traditional candidates like Wagner, that's pretty doable.

I think it’s likely he does. But he has to flip 35 out of just 124 and we have no idea how many are no closers no matter what voters.

but there are enough guys in the next two years — Beltre and Ichiro are locks to get in. Sabathia will suck up a lot votes and next year you have Mauer and Utley that are probably going to be on half of ballots
