    Figuring the Raiders draft pick might be fun - by that time the beers will have settled in, fans are a little over their skis and the fights will start.

    I’m very hipsterish about drafts. I loved them as a kid because they were quirky, stupid, awkward events no one cared about. The broadcasts were scattershot and filled with awkward pauses. I’m uncomfortable with their widespread popularity and any glossiness.

    Illini defense was one of the best units no one paid attention to the last couple of years. I think he’ll do well.

    Tough draft for Clay Trumpist and Dan Dakich. Three Black QBs in the first 4 picks.
    And another Black QB signs a big $ contract.

    Of all the possible fashion accessories for the top NFL draft picks, I did not see the Laverne DeFazio-style monograms coming.

    Interesting pick by the Seahawks. Everyone assumed they would take Carter … or if not him, Richardson at QB.

    I guess with Seattle’s pass rush lately, you can’t have too many quality DBs.
