He's been known as Don Geronimo for at least 30 years, when I used to listen to Don and Mike on DC 101. This is not a new development. But making crude sexist comments after the old boss of the franchise just got dinged $60M for repeated sexual harassment? Yeah, he had to go.

 

I realize that - but being aligned with then Redskins and now with the new team name- maybe he might have wanted to change his name too?

 

Doing it right doesn’t include giving a press conference where you puke all over yourself. You let the contract play out, tour the country with your shitty band and shut up. Irsay can’t do that.

For a league with a total value of well over $100 billion....hell, imagine how much crud the Oakland Coliseum or the XFL or USFL would get if this happened.
