Didn't Gibson request a trade after the season? I was expecting something around the draft.
Ducks would need a goalie back because the system is bare.

I don't remember him ever requesting a trade -- just lots of rumors from media pundits surmising he was going. I thought Pittsburgh might have been a logical destination, but the Penguins re-upped with Tristan Jarry. When that happened, I figured Gibson was OK with the Ducks. That would be my preference -- never trade your best player.

I think they have missed out on the best opportunity to trade him.

Goalie is a very strange position to figure out under the salary cap right now.

You're right. The teams with seemingly the greatest need already made deals with others.

That was fun, thanks. Got 8 of 9, couldn’t think of a Detroit/Colorado answer.

Frank Seravalli, you're off the team. Back to the bushes, rube.

Looks to me like KO Sports’ current client base should be pulling in some decent fees. They should hire a a writer. This release, and their website copy, read like a hockey player wrote them.

The Ottawa Senators parted ways with assistant general manager Trent Mann on Tuesday, Sportsnet can confirm.
It's the latest in a series of front-office changes for the Senators with new owner Michael Andlauer set to take control of the franchise.
The Senators confirmed president of business operations Anthony LeBlanc resigned Monday.
Postmedia's Bruce Garrioch was first to report the news that Mann and the team had parted ways.
Garrioch reports the decision to fire Mann's brother Troy as the head coach of the club's AHL affiliate in Belleville last February may have caused some tension in the front office.

    Well, yeah, probably.
