In the era where seemingly every show from the '90s and '00s is getting rebooted, why not do it with wrestlers, too.

Not to mention the girl who went thru the table cooda been killed cuz they completely missed the spot.

When Bret and Austin and Flair bled it was light and watery. These guys and girls today with the gobs of and gobs of dark gross shit is just bad. It was gross when Eddie did it too against JBL.

It sounds weirds, but there’s a right way and a wrong way to blade. The right way is just a small scratch near the scalp where one’s sweat is supposed to make it seem a gusher. And then there’s the wrong way, which is everything else.

Part of that is because they don’t have as many PPVs (or er, Premium Live Events). So sometimes, it’s hard for them to build a storyline up to a climatic moment. So they have to put on crazy stuff every week to keep interest.

There’s a lot of talent there. They just need to know how to use it a bit better.

You don’t need to see blood every week to keep interest.

Granted it’s the big league and they’ve had decades to perfect it, but look at the Sami Zayn-Bloodline storyline… and none of it has played out on a PLE/PPV. One of the hottest stories in years.

We’ve seen it so much blood/gore with AEW that we’re getting desensitized to it. It’s moved from shock to desperation.

One thing I can't figure out is if Moxley is blading every match, or he just has a couple of spots where he frequently gets hit and bleeds a bit at the slightest contact. I think I've read about that being a thing, where guys have some old wounds or scars that are easy to open up and don't hurt when they do.
He's certainly not a guy who needs to blade to get over at this point in his career. Yet he bleeds so often that you would hope it's just a minor thing he doesn't have a lot of physical control over.

Well, his forehead's not a roadmap of scars like Dusty, Abdullah and D-Von, so he's got that going for him.

Didn't he make his name, pre-WWE, working the indy hardcore/death match circuit?

I don't think it was full Nick Gage, but definitely not always rated-PG.

Its a great pt by Batman that Mox’s head is so bad it might bust open hardway half the time

Its also a feature of having a big boss like Vince or HHH that says, no, do not blade vs this jobber on my show, save it for MJF so it means something. But hey creative freedom and all that

They're reuniting all generations of the Bloodline next week to acknowledge Roman?

Afa, Sika, Rikishi ... could this be where they bring out you know who?

Can't wait for the shock surprise when we hear the first notes of Nia Jax's song.

Or do we continue the slow build from Young Rock?
