That lasted pretty much ECW’s entire original run, save the two years Raven spent in WCW. But when he came back, they picked it right up again.

 

Mox actually has a pretty logical storyline reason for bleeding in most of his matches.

“The point of the dissertation is that this is a combat sport,” says Moxley. “But we’re not allowed to have blood in a match unless it’s a personal grudge? We’re only allowed to have blood after a five-month grudge after someone slept with somebody’s wife or somebody ran over someone with a car? And then—and only then—are we allowed to have this dramatic crimson mask that looks the exact same every single time? For me, realism-wise, since this is a combat sport, that means there is the potential for blood in every match. Everything in wrestling is preposterous to some degree, but this helps with the suspension of disbelief.

“I’m actually for less blood but more often. If every single match on the card had a busted eyebrow or bloody nose, it would just be part of the sport. But some gory spectacle with blood shooting like a hose is pretty unnecessary. We’re elbowing each other in the face every single match. We’re kicking each other in the face every single match. What are these people made of if they’re not bleeding?"

The Hangman, Omega, Young Bucks storyline has been running for years - dating back to NJPW before AEW existed. It's been one of the central stories since AEW started in 2019.

 

It's great cinema, but did they need to dedicate more than a quarter of the show to the Bloodline?

 

Wouldn't it be something if Roman ran up to the ambulance saying "I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU!" and flipped it on its side with Jimmy inside?

 

Edge bringing up the old center entrance at MSG. That's something unique I really miss about WWE shows there.

 

I’m semi-surprised they didn’t have Sheamus beat Theory for the US title there, even if it would be switched back in a week or two. The E usually likes to do something extra special at MSG.

 

When Logan Paul was just chilling in the aisle, I had a hunch Ricochet was going to pull out the flip he did in NXT.

But the NXT one was better. Totally stuck the landing.

 

The Dream has no memory of this.

 

This program is such a huge test for Richochet and I so hope he passes it.
