Thinking the same, like if HBK’s wrestling Mania weekend he ain’t doin it at 1 pm on Saturday.

    Maybe Xpac?

Honestly Waller-Bloom’s not terrible after seeing the big man step up in that scene. But no one in the states cares about Prince Albert

Maybe not. But I bet the roof blows off the building when Lord Tensai's music hits.

Bron starting to get the Cena-esque "Bron Breakker sucks" chants.

I don't think there's any doubt that Carmelo will be taking the belt off him in LA, and Bron will be thrown to the main roster wolves.

But imagine them jobbing Bron out to Jinder next week.

You mean when they start playing "Better Call my Mama" and he comes out as Sweet T of the Tons of Funk.

Pretty Deadly is so great. I never thought a tag team of rejects from the casting call for Hamilton's King George would be so great.

I love them for the same reason I loved Breezango. Just so darn amusing.

Tony lets talent have too much say in their storylines?

Also, they’re losing FTR back to WWE?

I don't know what to think. I'm sure they'd love to go back to a Vince-free WWE, but what all can they do that's worth it other than going back with New Day and the Usos?

And Dax can't seem to let it go about his feelings with Road Dogg, who's in a position of power and in Trips' ears.

Also, WWE won't allow them to scratch the itch to dabble in the indies.

It seems like FTR can’t get along with the Bucks and will thus never be presented as the top tag team. Altho honestly they seem kind of like those guys that are unhappy with success and always think they grass is greener so who knows

With Bryan its like, does he need to be an underdog? Is this technical wrestling machine as over as he could be? Or did they F it up by having him lose so much early on? Or did his stint as a heel in wwe (amazing as it was) curtail any chance of ever reaching Yes-lemania level face love again? Or some combination of all 3?

Its just weird to me that “they need a babyface” when they signed arguably the biggest one of the era not 18 months ago

I think a bunch of would-be mega faces got buried, both purposely and inadvertently, during Hurricane Punk.

Danielson and Wardlow come immediately to mind.

Danielson, Wardlow, Omega, Page and/or Moxley could all be a top face for AEW. They just need some storyline tweaks. Cody was THE face when AEW launched. But as fans turned on him thanks to a variety of reasons, he was never really replaced at the top.

That is correct. Jerry Jarrett would have been running the WWF if Vince was convicted and imprisoned. Sometimes, I try to imagine a Jerry Jarrett-run WWF in the mid-90s and wonder how much the wrestling biz would have changed as the Monday Night Wars were just about to begin.

Jerry also was in probably the first scaffold match in wrestling history and was once attacked by Mario Galento, who had been fired, on live TV. Jerry was working with Lawler when Galento came in the ring and attacked Jarrett. Lawler helped Jarrett even though he was the heel and after they got rid of Galento, the King grabbed the microphone and said that he didn’t need anyone’s help. Lawler said in his book that he had to do that so fans wouldn’t wonder why he was helping his hated rival.
