What a cluster. The Board of Trustees again pushes their own agenda over the advice of the competent professionals the university employs. We've got a really good athletic director in Bubba Cunningham and I fully expect he will have left for greener pastures by the time Belicheck tries to force his son on the university as his successor in two years.

What little interest I had remaining in my alma mater's football team is going up in smoke.

Home opener August 30 versus TCU. Go ahead and clear out a spot for Gameday to set up. Lead pipe cinch.

I think that Hoodie's brain is going soft with all that comedy he's been playing with that young girl

Not a surpise: Steve Belichick will join his father's coaching staff at North Carolina.

Belichick to UNC really is the football version of Back To School.

Using his power to get his son on the diving team.

I didn't think he was seriously considering the gig. Really a strange move all around.

I just can't see Belichick firing up college players in the locker room.

Funny that this news about Belichick became official
on the same day that Gus Malzahn met with the Florida State media and essentially explained that he walked away from $15 million because he’s an old-school coach who wants nothing to do with what a 2024 head coach has to deal with.

Bill may only last a few years, but I just can’t see him trying to kiss the butts of boosters, managing the world of NIL, keeping his players happy and out of the transfer portal, recruiting 17-year-olds and dealing with college media while coaching a team to a bowl game with a corny sponsor. He had better assemble one helluva staff.
