Not only are secret scrimmages no longer secret, they’re televised! UNC at Memphis firing up on ESPNU, complete with pep band.

Difference is that Kenpom, allegedly a predictive calculation, uses data from previous seasons to formulate its early season numbers since the sample size is skewed.

That's disqualifying in the transfer portal era, yet, people quote the site like its Bible.

All the ratings are BS, so Thank Tebow we have the Fighting Condis at the Grapevine Gaylord holed up like fucking Vatican cardinals to decide if Purdue makes the cut or not.

Big Bennett guy - both Tony and Dick.

Unless there’s a health issue, leaving in October (or November with Dick) is bullshit.

I feared Tony wouldn’t be able to tolerate the absurdity of unregulated payment of players, the perpetual transfer hamster wheel and the other ways college sports have had to pay suddenly for their historical intransigence. But retiring only months after signing a new contract and three weeks before the season’s first game is shocking. Various reports now saying— thankfully — that it’s not health-related.

    I agree.
You don’t go from being re-energized and ready to go after signing a new deal to retiring that quick.
