2024-25 College Basketball Thread

Virginia Tech would struggle to get a bye into the quarterfinals at the Atlantic 10 tournament this year. The Hokies are that bad. They might win two ACC games and will probably miss the conference tournament. If they don't beat Miami in Blacksburg Saturday, it could get super ugly.

 

They did manage to poach Ben Hammond from URI, which then caused URI to get Sebastian Thomas back from Albany. This seemed more consequential before URI dropped games to Brown and Duquesne, though.

 

It could be worse. Trust me!

 

Yeah, saw your boys got stomped by the Tribe last night. Not great Bob! At least my boss is happy.

 

I almost texted you to find out the halftime moneyline, just in case the miracle happened. It did not!

Tennessee certainly looked like the No. 1 team today. Lanier looks like a nice replacement for Knecht, and Milicic was a monster on the boards.
