Got Jackets-Wings on one TV, Blues-Caps on another.

CBJ wins 5-2. JVR two goals. Talbot was pretty solid in Wings net, though. Evason has his young team flying. Thank you, Jarmo.
STL wins by same score. Ovechkin no goals.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. I believe both U.S. networks that broadcast games have a quota of games to broadcast, and I would bet they have locked down which games they want.

Now, if it's late in the season, playoff spots are at stake, and one or both of the networks do a whiparound type show for the final xx days, they might do live look-ins, sure.

As a comparison, I don't recall which national network (if either) had the Lakers' game when LeBron James did whatever he did with respect to most points scored. Not sure if a network hijacked that game or what.

Off Jack Billingham, I believe, among the more prolific sacrifice bunting pitchers of that time.

If you are going to have this promotion, the one detail you absolutely must nail down is to be sure the themed merchandise is not made in Turkiye.

And having done two stints in the Fresno area, a word to the wise: Don't eff with the Armenians.

The Islanders give up the ghost but get a haul for the terrific Brock Nelson:

I'm a little surprised Lamoriello did it with a playoff berth technically still within reach, but they couldn't keep trying to win with this core.

Ritchie is from one town over, and I know his mother fairly well. Been watching the kid since he was 10 or so. Smart, responsible, two-way centre who’s been playing a bit tougher this year too. I guess he’d be a guy Lamiorello would have paid attention to.

Two wins in one day for the Avs, who ran over the Sharks last night.

Thanks for your many years here, but you're going so no need to keep this up.

Elliotte reporting Marchand possibly to the Panthers.
Earlier, Rantanen was traded to Dallas.
    EDIT: Marchand trade now official.
