    Not important at all and I'm reticent to use the frowned upon "i" word, but the Lightning's scheduled home opener is Saturday ... against the Hurricanes.

    Glad I filled the cars with gas Saturday and Sunday. Lines today were ridiculous, made more so by the station across the street running out.

    Seems the more docile the Hurricane name sounds, the more damaging. Hugo? Helene? Katrina? Milton?

    If I'm evacuating and my home is facing peril, having the storm named Conan or Maximus would be somewhat more acceptable.

    Sweet Jesus.

    There's no such critter as an EF-6 tornado because an EF-5 means complete destruction and debris removal, which is the maximum of destruction. At 175 mph over hours this might do the same.
