So of course the Spartans score five in the bottom of the sixth, four on the third homer of the game by Hunter Dorraugh.

Mountain West final: Fresno State 16, San Jose State 11.
Just like the Spartans last year, the Bulldogs won three straight elimination games to move on. This despite a four HR game by Dorraugh.

Every time a team in any sport, including a couple this year, have petitioned to be eligible, it's been denied. James Madison football and Merrimack basketball among others

Hell, Tarleton was already denied in football

Alabama softball not only upsets No. 3 seed Tennessee for its most unlikely WCWS appearance, it hands out cigars on Rocky Top. That’s next-level rivalry trolling.

At least this time they have lights and can host. Their only other time they hosted they played in Lake Elsinore and went 2-and-Q.

They probably will get San Diego, Cal and Cal Baptist in the annual "Let's Kill California" regional.

They kept talking up Mississippi State as a host site as if it was almost a certainty, and their nice run at Hoover surely didn't hurt their cause. But they only got up to No. 25 in RPI so I guess it wasn't even that close. There were four SEC teams ahead of them in RPI in that 18-25 range.
