2024 college baseball/softball thread

    In baseball, none of the No. 2 seeds advanced. First time that has happened in this format.

    Three homers and counting for FSU, plus another blast that may have gone over the foul pole but didn’t have a conclusive replay. UConn starter chased after an inning and 2/3.

    I looked 10 minutes ago and it was 15-1 FSU. It's now 24-1. Holy shit!

    It won’t because there isn’t much NIL in baseball compared to football and hoops.

    Outside the South and perhaps Southern California, college baseball doesn't have a high profile. If you're marketing a new line of shoes or gloves, do you want Joe Schmoe of Hometown Tech as your endorser or a major league star?

    Sure, but if Joe is going to play college ball, you want him to go to Tech instead of State. We all know NIL isn't really about the N, the I, or the L - its about the ability.
