How great would it be for the Celtics to punk the Lakers and take Bronny James one pick ahead of LA?

If anything significant happens in sports today, does expect to see it on the WWL.

    It didn't happen.

I feel bad for the kid. There would have been a huge spotlight on him on any team, and now that's even magnified.

The University of France has a helluva team, four first-round picks! Mon Dieu!

Bronny should hold out and demand lottery money.

Some slight substance to potential of Paul George to Ws (using CP3 contract). He's still very good (legit All-Star) so could really help but still Curry/Draymond/PG would be like 2004 Lakers/2012 Nets (old dudes on downside) whereas the Nuggets/Celtics/Wolves/Thunder are "movin' on up (cue Jeffersons theme song)".

There has to be something else going on with Paul George. Even the Sixers, who never met a bad deal they didn’t love, won’t touch him with a 10-foot pole.

He's expensive, injury-prone and 34 years old. That's a bad combo. Plus, the new CBA makes it really hard for big-salary teams to move anyone. (That doesn't apply to the Sixers, who have all kinds of space, but it's an issue for other teams.)

Despite all of that, all I’ve heard for the last few months was how he was their top priority in the offseason. Then, suddenly, last week word started popping up that they “cooled” on him. Figured it had to be something a little less obvious.

Its odd to realize, that as much attention as the Lakers get, they are the second best team in LA and fourth best in the state. At least Bronny will give people something to talk about. Might make for interesting Summer league viewing.
