    I wouldn't be so sure. I could see him settling down in Annapolis for five or six years and being a savior of sorts. Midshipmen would run through walls for a guy like that. Chet Gladchuk would never hire someone who'd have more power than him on campus, though.

    If Belichick decides he wants to coach Navy (not an impossible thought, if unlikely), his campaign for the job would begin at a level far above Gladchuk. Like, say, with the Chief of Naval Operations.

    Actually, you don't get the transfer portal off your back wherever you go. If you have a stud, I don't care if he's at an academy or D-III, he will be contacted and offered.
