Ok yeah, I know the whole Colin Campbell story. I just was surprised Sekeres got so fired up.

And his mic cutting out when he got hottest was kinda funny.

 

Sharks sign Celebrini to three-year deal, standard entry level contract. He'll join team this season.

 

Perhaps they can put him in the Gil Stein wing.

 

Hopefully he can make it to the season opener.

 

Good hire. Happy for him.

The word finally comes out about why Jeff Marek disappeared from Sportsnet between draft rounds. He was leaking advance pick info to a friend who would tweet it out. Dismissal seems severe but his risk reward calculations were poor.

 

Tweeting out picks ahead of selections has been a happening since Twitter around. Maybe it was because he didn’t do the tweeting himself, but would ESPN fire Pasan, Schefter or Woj under similar circumstances? Of course not.

 

Recall the furor a few years back when March Madness berths were announced on social media before CBS revealed them.
