I double-checked the AEW Dynamite open, and we did not get a Canadian boob flash.

That Deeb promo needed to be a sitdown video or something that crowd had no idea what to do with what she was saying. That was rough

Surprised that Hangman wasn't part of the team vs. the Elite. Now, I think he'll be the secret weapon FOR the Elite.

Dax vs. the nephew of Dynamite Kid. Considering the FTR guys are so close with Bret, that'll be an interesting matchup.

This five-star classic aside, give Lil' Naitch his flowers. He's been going strong for more than a quarter century. Turns 60 in a few month, is still reffing and is still doing work with the ring crew.

It's been a while since they've done a "corrupt referee" angle, hasn't it?
We had Danny Davis and the Hebners in the 80s and NWO Nick Patrick in the 90s. I think TNA did something else with the Hebners at some point. Has there been one in the past 10 or 15 years?

Brad Maddox, kinda sorta, but I think he was only brought up to ref as part of that angle with Punk and Ryback. Though Wiki says he reffed steadily for about two months leading up to that.

AEW's Rick Knox is part of the Young Bucks' circle. He hasn't done anything like that in AEW, but did he ever do anything like that with the Bucks anywhere else?

That whole bit was a good case of turning lemons into lemonade (or whatever your idiom is). It was fun, and the various little cameos were entertaining.

The follow-up with Otis sucked, and Asuka's briefcase was obviously made moot by Becky's pregnancy, but it was good at the moment.

OK, we know he's good in the ring, but why do the Saudis insist on having Logan Paul main eventing their shows?

Logan sure as hell (I hope) ain't beating Cody for the belt, so is Cody going to be a double champ? They implied that the US is going to be up for grabs, since Cody talked about being a grand slam champ.

Then, how do they get out of Cody holding both belts? Does he simply relinquish it?

    There's a barber pole backstage in Wilkes-Barre?

Has somebody accounted for Shawn Michaels? Will Carmelo make Corbin run into a pane of glass?

Damn. Jade looked good against Piper. She really has improved by leaps and bounds since the bulk of her AEW career. The finisher against Piper was impressive as hell.
