Mickie James got stuck sitting between DDP and Scott Steiner ... and that had to be the worst spot in the arena.

Good to see Raquel back, but they badly bungled the end of that match. Went over like a wet fart live.

Roman used Just For Men on his beard.

Roman as the face on distress. What a world we live in.

I didn't realize the PPV started at 5 p.m. (what a weird time for a domestic PPV), which was right in the middle of Vanderbilt-Alabama, so I didn't see any of it.
Sounds like the Punk-Drew match is worth watching. Anything else?

The main event was pretty hot.

Had a mostly good experience covering my first WWE event as credentialed media. But it was a bummer that Cody (my whole reason for wanting to cover the event) was yanked out of the press conference lineup to shoot his segment of getting attacked by Owens.

Also a little bitter for not getting selected to ask Triple H a question, but I understand I'm at the bottom of the totem pole compared to a lot of the usual suspects at these things.

At least the comp seats were pretty close.

I’m lost with the KO turn. Tributes to Dusty and Ole aside….. we know Cody has Gunther at Crown Jewel, then its WarGames. When is that supposed to pay off

I think it could be at Survivor Series. I don't see Cody being involved in a WarGames match, which has been one per gender.

That'll be between the fractured Bloodlines on the men's side. I think Cody's run with the Bloodline angles is done now, until either Roman or Rock come for him.

Cody-Gunther (unless Sami does the unthinkable Monday, and they feed Gunther to Goldberg in Saudi) at Crown Jewel is going to be good.

I can't truthfully believe anything good out of Nia vs. Liv. Both are annoying heels.

But I can get behind the idea of Liv vs. Tiffany, if Tiffany finally comes to her breaking point before then.

    Assuming Gunther wins on Monday.

Or unless he's part of Roman's Bloodline at War Games ... OK, I would absolutely pay money to see that.

I'd figured they were setting up the second War Games match as a mixed gender match to finally settle the Judgment Day split.
Balor, McDonough, Dom, Carlito and Liv on one side. Priest, Ripley, Jey Uso and two others (Rey Mysterio, and I can't recall who else they've been mixing into that feud lately)

I just dont know if the timing will work for Bloodline Civil War at Wargames. The slow pace they use for Bloodline stories, I figure it could be War Games 2025!

so youd have Cody/Roman/Randy/Jimmy against Solo Fatu and the Tongans.

I dont know that we get Jey back on team Roman in time for this year’s SS.

I figure the next Rock develoment will be set for Saturday Night Main Event …. He probably wrestles on the NBC show

Nah. On one side, you have the outlaw Bloodline. On the other, you have Roman, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso ... and special guest the Undisputed champion, Cody Rhodes.
