Everybody predicted the crowd would turn on Cody and a year later hes the most over babyface the business has seen in 25 years…..

 

i actually think the Rock wins and then drops or relinquishes the belt on Raw the next night. Losing to the Rock only enhances RR—that's the level of star it takes to beat him.
And then RR either gets the belt back the next night, or the belt goes to Jey/Jimmy/Solo, and RR starts chasing that person.

 

Last night’s segment is the most disliked video ever on WWE’s YouTube channel.

The boos will happen.

I know she tries hard, but it just screams foul that his daughter gets named the authority figure of NXT outta nowhere, around the same time Rock joins the board and he muscles his way into the main event of WrestleMania.

 

I can’t find the link at the moment (because Fightful is a blizzard-causing content farm), but they’re reporting that it’s going to get worse for VKM: Longtime WWE employees said that if the feds raided Vince and got his phone — and that already happened — they’ll almost surely find “something,” as Sean Ross Sapp put it. At least one person in the industry claims to know of more people who were involved in the Janel Grant situation, and if they don’t agree to come forward that person will out them. At least one WWE employee thinks that the Grant lawsuit is far from the worst of it, and both attorneys and media outlets have contacted other potential victims to see if they would like to come forward.

Meanwhile, Vice News — the home of Dark Side of the Ring, which has to be brewing a whole season of episodes just on Vince — reported yesterday that the NDA Grant signed may be unenforceable. Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal (paywalled, I’ll find it free soon) is reporting that at least four women who previously signed NDAs with McMahon and Titan Towers have been named in a grand jury subpoena, including a woman wrestler who said VKM coerced her into giving her oral sex and a former WWE front-office employee who said that Johnny Ace demoted her after she broke off an affair with him.

At this point, it’s a snowball rolling downhill headed not for hell (sorry, Mr. Haggard) but instead VKM’s stupid Boston Blackie mustache, and I’m not certain that the WWE and TKO can get out of the way.

Also, has anybody mentioned that Stephanie McMahon has been avoiding any contact whatsoever with her father for closing on two years?

I didn't even realize this commonality.

 

One interesting thing, to me, was that even in the 5 minute post show they posted on socials, the camera never shows Solo. You never see how his face looks when it comes to Rock.
