2024 Pro Wrestling Thread

WWE has four Aussies on the main roster, but only one has a match so far for Elimination Chamber in Australia. Figured they would've thrown more of a bone to them for the big homecoming.

 

Seth: "What can I say except you're welcome."

Seth offering to second Cody at Mania. Lord help me if they have Seth screw Cody over to pay him back for not choosing him.

 

Pat: "I'm 36 and pulled a muscle taking a dump yesterday."

That's some Bobby Heenan-level insight on commentary right there.

 

Move over, Cody and Roman. We've got our main event.

 

It's 2024, and a match involving Baron Corbin is getting a commanding standing ovation in his favor with "This is awesome!", "Fight forever!" and "You deserve it!" chants. What a world we're living in.

But seriously, Corbin has been reborn since going back down to NXT and especially since he started teaming with Bron.

A bit surprised that they won it, since they've definitely got Bron on the quick rise. Maybe a quick reign to drop it to someone like Chase U.

 

Dammit. Hate to see things like that. This also affects Friday's EC qualifier against Tiffany, so they'll have to find another opponent.

That's a bummer. He served kind of a refined role, never really leaving the Stamford studios, but he was really good and knowledgeable at his job. He always had great rapport with the guests and with Kayla and Megan Morant. Definitely, not as good as some of the other male studio hosts they use.

 

Cody's so over, he's even getting chants on the old show.

 

Orange Cassidy putting new meaning to "freshly squeezed." Him and Matt Raven are brutally crimson right now.



Some pretty wicked matches to bookend Dynamite tonight with some good promos inside.
