It’s going to be funny as hell if Jinder gets a babyface reaction in the next few weeks.

Jinder: “You Americans are lazy, spoiled idiots.”

WWE Universe: “Yay! Yes we are!”

You can add in that he seemed juice to the god damn gills on his return before becoming champion, too. It seemed like one of the most "Vince saw the guy without his shirt on" reigns of all-time.

Jinder's out of nowhere rise, I thought, was part of what was supposed to make his title reign interesting. A lifelong jobber finally putting it together to seize his moment and win a championship. The idea that anyone really can win the WWE championship. It might've worked better if it had been a babyface, though (like if they'd done that with Kofi's meteoric rise). Having Jinder do it as a heel probably did him no favors, and then on top of it he just wasn't a guy who could carry that ball. Dumb decisions like the Punjabi Prison match with Orton didn't help, either.
But, hey, he was champion and they can never take that away from him. Good for him.

Agreed. I hope he made a shit-ton of money from that title run.

Jinder's segment on "The Bump" didn't really offer much. He did mention that he was trending all day yesterday and Matt Camp (the host) said with a little snicker under his breath, "Yeah, you did."

Looks like the WWE stuff is coming back to A&E in February, and they've announced the slate of Biography episodes they have planned: Randy Orton, Sgt. Slaughter, DDP, Scott Hall, British Bulldog and Roman Reigns.

Randy's should be good, dealing with his out-of-the ring demons, his immaturity and going AWOL from the military. Don't really see much to get out of Sarge, other than the threats he got when he went Iraqi. DDP is going to be a great feel-good piece, while Hall and Bulldog are obviously going to be sad as hell. I'll reserve judgement on Roman, because it's still a little early I think and other than his battle with leukemia, I don't want it to fall into just being a glory piece for the Tribal Chief.

I dont like the timing of that Roman Reigns bio…… kinda lines up right after Mania, points to a loss wrapping up the whole thing?

The Bollywood Boyz/Singh Bros. (AKA Jinder's old lackies) have been used on occasion on AEW/ROH TV.

Imagine if Tony trots them out tonight and gives them a tag team title opportunity.

Wrestlecrap is always a fun time-waster. Their induction on Jinder's WWE title reign:

Last summer I watched Matt Taven headline an indy show in front of 300 people. It's weird seeing him in AEW's main event scene and holding one of their tag team championships.

For whatever reason she hasn't been used, it does seem sacrilegious for Britt Baker to not be on the Daily's Place homecoming show.

If Bayley was the women's MVP during the Thunderdome era, that was Britt for AEW at Daily's.
