Yeah, it could have been a little better. The matches themselves were fine, and mostly PPV quality. They also need to save some of the surprises for follow-up shows.

The celebrities thing got tiresome after a while, and I found it annoying that they had so many other wrestlers in the crowd. Was it really necessary? Shit, put them all in a battle royal for 15 minutes with the winner getting an IC/US title match down the road. It’d be a better use of time than showing a large group of random celebrities.

I also wondered why Cody wasn’t coming out from the crowd to help out against KO for a minute. It wasn’t making sense.

I’m sure they’ll have a lot more in-ring action as they gain their footing on Netflix. Tonight was essentially a season premiere. Start with a bang, but don’t give everything away all at once.

I dunno, I liked the crowd shots. Throw em in a battle royal everybody says “Oh this meaningless battle royal’s only here to get these people on the show”

I only had one problem with the shots of wrestlers in the crowd -- when the camerman goes from X Pac to Shinsuke and back to Pac and they skipped right over the WOMEN'S TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS sitting between them, Bianca Belair and Naomi. Let's ignore two of the biggest female stars and make sure the old DX guy gets plenty of camera time.

They introduced Naomi and Belair at the start of that shot. It was a sloppy sequence.

That makes sense. I missed the start of that (probably on my phone) and I didn't rewind it. Thought it was odd they skipped over them twice but if they intro'd them first, I can see why. Looked like they kept expecting the camera to stop on them. Definitely sloppy camera work then.

The Rock will be on NXT tonight as Ava celebrates "Bring Your Dad to Work Day."

Looking forward to seeing Robert Stone take a Rock Bottom tonight.

Corey Graves on NXT tonight. Don't know if this is a permanent thing or a one-off for the big LA show, because I don't think NXT needs a three-man crew.

With Pat back on Raw, and Joe/Wade seemingly shifting to SD, Graves seemed to be the odd man out.

I needed a laugh today, and found it with this AI edited video of Gorilla and Bobby with some curses and a great insult by Monsoon on Terry Taylor. Language NSFW.

NXT doing its main event championship match before Rock comes out? Interesting.

Putting the Rock out there to cut a promo with a hard 10:00 out time -- probably not the wisest idea.

The Iron Sheik Twitter account also resurfaced today. Hr obviously never was a Hulk Hogan, and tweeting from the grave, nothing has changed.
