You're right. Jack shooting Curtis was not an "oh shit" moment.

Like Joe said, what about when Jack killed Curtis? And when the nuke went off after Jack said he was done? Or what about when Jack killed the terrorist by biting his neck?

I could go on and on, but this season has had plenty of "oh shit" moments for me.

Best guess is that Jack's dad and last season's president were all in together.
Jack's dad engineered Palmer getting killed, so the other guy could come in and be in charge and that's why Dr. Romano was able to boss him around last season.
I figure the current VP, Lennox and Jack's dad are also all connected, forming some kind of shadow government.
The oh shit moment comes when Jack puts it all together and realizes he has to kill his dad, but can't or won't and Jack either puts the barrel in his mouth or Jack's dad shoots him.

I was really hoping they'd kill Graem by dropping a helicopter on him.

Just finished the latest episode and I gotta agree. Other than killng Curtis, this season has been kinda lame. But I'm wondering if that isn't because last season started off so damn good.

Am I the only person thinking that Thanksgiving dinner with the Bauers has got to be the best? :D

I don't think this season has been lame at all. Just because Jack has only killed three people this season (including Curtis) is the reason why, I would guess, some think it's "kind of lame."

The vampire bite, killing Curtis, nuke bomb, dad turning heel, death of Graem and even setup of Morris have been "oh shit" moments to me. Not bad for seven hours.

  8. OK, is it really spelled "Graem"?

Ha, I dunno. I see everyone else spell it like that so I jumped on the ship. Hopefully they'll show his face in the previews and his name will pop up... oh, wait....

Yep - that's the spelling they showed on the graphics.

I think there's been plenty of "oh shit" moments. I was pretty convinced that Jack's dad was on the straightened arrow. The Morris thing was cool, too. My wife (and others) said earlier in the season that Morris would end being a bad guy. Last night she said, "See! I was right!" Then she realized what happened and said, "Oh, maybe not." I thought that was a great twist. I was definitely thinking the dude was shady, and now he's in a bad spot.

How long until Chloe gets kidnapped by Fayed?

  12. I need some help.
Someone told me that the first Pres. Palmer and Jack go back to CIA days. Is that correct? I can't remember back to seasons 1 and 2 where this would be confirmed. Anyone know?
