Is that right SIX years, as in six years between last season and this season?

Not six years between this season and last season.
Last season she wasn't undercover with the Russian mob.
I think in the first hour or so it was established there were only two years (the President's divorce) between this year and last year.
That means Renee was undercover with the Russian mob four years before last season before they pulled her out for whatever reasons.
