I know there's not a lot of real envelope-pushing they can do, considering some of the crazy stuff they've pulled in the past, but this season just feels so ... generic.

    Like it's being repeated?

this season is horrible. I treat it like I do Heroes and fast forward through most of it hoping something interesting catches my eye.

I keep hearing from critics it gets better - but I agree about the Dana Walsh subplot. What a dumb idea to give a significant amount of time to a character we don't know and don't care about, and the story is pretty trivial compared to the other stories. Throw in Freddie being AWOL this week, Jack's "concern" for Renee and the other President Taylor plot spinning its wheels and I agree its a slog.
I figure the daughter or the wife of Hasan becomes a big time player in the plot at some point. Don't know if I'll be watching by then.

I'm just catching up. The Dana Walsh subplot is awful. The rest of it has been pretty good, at least compared to what else is on.

We watched last week's episode on TIVO and if I looked up from the computer more than three times, I'd be shocked.

This is a horrible, shittastic show. Should have ended with some pride still in the tank by killing off Jack last year.

Tonight it will be revealed that it was not actually Pink performing at the Grammy's last night, but Jack Bauer undercover.

Can't agree more about the Dana Walsh thing. But they've got to have some sub plots going along at different times, and this one will be over soon anyway I'm sure. I'm just waiting for Charles Logan return here soon.

That's one of the few things that can salvage this train wreck. He's not dead and you know he's lurking somewhere.

Isn't he returning sometime this season?
