It's weird seeing Callum Keith Rennie (Battlestar Galactica, Californication) as a Russian. I believe he's actually British - at least he's British in the shows I've seen him in before.

 

She hacked a guy's thumb off and didn't blink. Hoping she will give a whole new meaning to 'erectile dysfunction.'

 

Born in England, but he's been Canadian since a very young age.

 

Maybe I'm just thinking about Californication since that's what I last saw him in. If I remember correctly, he played up the British accent.

Fortunately, on American TV, if you're foreign we figure you can play any non-American nationality.

I'm glad to see 24 treading new ground, such as the main female character getting raped and dysfunctional families in which fathers kill their sons. Good stuff!

 

What are the chances that Dana's sending Scumbag Ex and his buddy Loser Doosh to a bullet-laden death? Not an awful episode despite that stupid plotline rearing its ugly head twice. (Confession: I stepped out of the room and took a leak during the first Scumbag Ex scene.)

When they say "Crossed Giblets Of Death" they really aren't kidding about the death part.

 

Renee looked good in that black wife beater. I don't recall her carrying an overnight bag. maybe she went to the Gap.

 

Or the giblets, apparently. Nothing says 'pass the cranberry' like guts splattered across the dining room.

 

Would have been cool if Renee left mic in and let Jack listen.
