Considering last season's breach of the White House, you think CTU might be on the lookout for bad guys tunneling and such.

Got a text from a friend to watch Jack's kill. It's still on my DVR, so I watched it. Pretty solid kill. Doesn't make up for the other 59 minutes of shit.

Although, I can't confirm that since I didn't watch tonight for the first time in five years.

Wasn't awful. Fairly steady. Sadly, Kevin Wade still not dead. Nothing pointed to the plot spoilers that showed up on the web late last week, though.

So at the end of the season, will Renee or Jack be credited with more dead scumbags?

Damn. Missed the episode. But I can figure out what happened from the terrific analyse du texte on sj.

Technically speaking, in re: the knife kill.

Per hockey rules, does Renee get an assist since she put the knife into Jack's possession prior to the throw?

My thought about that "assist" was that she could have tagged the intestinal wall.

I like Mad Men. It's an excellent character-driven show. But I'm tired of my favorites, like 24, trying to create a more character-driven environment.
I watch 24 for non-stop action, not this crap they've stuck us with this season.

That's what I found really odd about this week's episode. For the first time all season, it seemed like they were trying extra hard to devote this episode to character development ... something that could have been done weeks ago. It was a fine episode, just weird timing to stop shooting guns and start talking, given the pace of the season.

She carved Vlad up pretty good before that. Man, don't ever tell that chick she looks fat in her new jeans.

    I'll second that.

I know it's been 10 years or whatever, but it's still like nails on a chalkboard every time Jack says nook-yoo-ler. Every. Single. Time.

This episode gave me a good band name idea: Redneck Bluetooth.
