    Go for it. If you think Season 8 was a helluva ride, you'll love seasons 1-5.

    I've seen every season. Jumped in right from the start. Apart from a really shitty Season 7, I loved just about everything about this show. Good stuff.

    Just got done rewatching the pilot though and it's amazing how much this show has changed in eight years.

    I miss the Bauer voiceovers from Season 1. "My name is Jack Bauer. Today is going to be the longest day of my life."

    I can just see Jack leading the team into Pakistan and getting a hold of Bin Laden. . .

    "Who are you working for?"

    Then when he gets his head blown off. . . "Damn it!!!!"
