In last week's episode they had a group over from Division tearing up CTU and last night they weren't even seen.
And that's just one example. It also left the health and well-being of at least five characters up in the air.
Best guess for next season is that it won't be set in LA.

Agreed on L.A. How much bad shit can happen to/in one city?

What about DC, New York, Dallas, Chicago?

I totally forgot about that new group running CTU last week and not even in this week's episode.

That last scene with Audrey...so many better ways to play that. She should have been awake and alert, but unable to communicate....he has to look into her wide-open pleading eyes, as she grips his hand to keep him from leaving....he has to pull his hand away, saying goodbye as he sees the pain in her eyes. But then....as he pulls away...he realizes she has pressed a key into his hand....as she slips back into a coma....

Okay, but it's better than that dumb scene THEY came up with. It's like the director and writers showed up to shoot the last day, looked around and said, 'what do you mean, where's the script, I thought YOU were doing the script....'

The only thing good about that episode was when Jack goes off on Heller. That was the only moment when I didn't know what was going to happen.
And i loved that one line by Chang, "My people won't abandon me like you did Jack Bauer."
overall though, a shit episode ending a shittier season.

I don't remember a flatline or any other indication that he was dead, and apparently a lot of other people don't either, since lots of 24 fans have been criticizing the show for leaving the Logan storyline without a resolution.

Good catch by whoever mentioned the group that took over CTU from Nadia last week after the attack. Where were they in the finale? And if they're not a part of the finale, why bother bringing them in last week? The whole season was unbelievably sloppy, as though they just went from episode to episode with no real plan.

When you compare this season to the first five seasons, it was pretty poor. But when you compare it to other TV, it was still pretty awesome.

The main problem is that there are only so many things the writers can do. How many times can you have a terrorist with a nuke (or toxic nerve gas) loose in the city? How many power plays in the White House can take place? How high is the mortality rate of president's around Jack Bauer?

What would the newspaper look like today if Season 6 actually happened?

    Part of LA was nuked.
    Former President dies
Current President blown up on camera, almost dies, comes back to avert crisis and then almost dies again.
Vice-President takes over and averts nuclear war.
    CTU attacked (again).
    Military blows up oil platform.

    Did I forget anything?

They blew it on the details this season. The division team showing up and disappearing, never tying up what happened to Logan and Palmer, for that matter. Is he going to be able to resume his duties? The stuff with Milo's brother was stupid. If Nadia, as Milo's boss, didn't contact the brother, who did? CTU HR, at 4 in the morning? My friend pointed out that Jack was soaking wet when he confronted Heller, but was bone dry when talking to Audrey minutes later. Aside from the stretched out plot, it's stuff like that that bugs me.

Good points, Dyno. The difference between this season and others is that usually the drama has been so compelling that we're willing to overlook those kinds of details, if we even notice them at all. But this year there was basically nothing happening, at least after the first few episodes, so the loose threads really stand out.

I'm disappointed because we didn't hear a single dammit from Jack. But we did get one from Doyle before he was blinded by the bomb.

    My season rankings:
    1. Season 5
    2. Season 1
    3. Season 2
    4. Season 4
    5. Season 3
    6. Season 6

Milo's brother showing up was just to confirm that Milo was indeed in love with Nadia and gave his life for her. Kind of cheesy and could have executed a hell of a lot better.

This season wasn't so great. It wasn't downright terrible, but not nearly up to the typical 24 standards of past. (and yes, I've seen every episode of the series like most of you). The biggest flaw is that every season is starting to feel the exact same. I say get rid of CTU and go from there.

At first I thought Milo's brother was Chloe's secret lover or some such shit like that.
