    There are entertainment show rumors that CTU may be completely gone for this season.....is there confirmation this is happening on 24?

    Odd that there is concern that making the show's president a woman might boost Hillary's chances. It's not like the scheming, incompetent president Logan...uh, well, never mind.

    If anything Fox would do this to make a female president look like a weak, emotional girly girl who can't handle it. From their point of view, this is a great move, considering this will be getting into the prime season for candidates.

    The plan was to get rid of CTU. Jack was to be a freelance agent, and Chloe was the only regular guaranteed to return. The season was supposed to be set in Africa, but the whole thing fell apart when the studio refused to pay the costs of filming on location. The producers scrapped the whole idea, and last I read, the writers were totally revamping the plot. Doesn't really bode well for the new season, does it?
