Surprised the 1994 docu-whatever-you-want-to-call-it was so well-received here. I thought it was crap and turned it off after 15 minutes. I'm not a New York sports fan and didn't care about OJ, so I guess I'm not the intended audience. But I found other 30-30 topics I cared little about -- such as the Jimmy the Greek feature -- very compelling.

They're already promoting the 30-for-30 pieces on DVDs on Amazon.com, so I strongly suspect you're correct and they will likely package it as a set as soon as they're all broadcast.

  3. You can order them all through Amazon. Eventually they will end up on the interwebs and then BAM -- glory.

  4. I actually preferred the 94 red and white striped road jerseys over the denim stars jerseys.

The advantage the denim stars jerseys had was that they didn't look like the jerseys already worn by any number of national and club teams.

Heads up to fans of this series...

It returns tonight at 7 p.m. (Central), with "Jordan Rides the Bus". I'm expecting another beauty.

If they don't at least mention the father's murder/gambling debts/MJ being a degenerate gambler/David Stern told him to take 18 months off conspiracy theory, I can't take it seriously.

James Jordan does not sit in a morgue for three days as a John Doe. Not in Boise or Fargo or Nome, and sure as hell not in the South.

The show on Jordan riding the bus was sort of lame, IMHO.

    They showed it.

I thought it was fairly interesting, maybe because I cover a shit-ton of minor-league baseball.

A friend of mine whose father was one of the media guys interviewed said those interviews took place more than a year ago. The producers have spent most of the time since then begging Jordan to be interviewed on camera, but he refused.

Liked finally having some information as to why Wulf showed up at Time Magazine months after that rip job on Jordan, which remains one of my all-time favorite SI stories.
