Yes, especially if you're not familiar with the details of his story.

I saw the Renee Richards one last week. I don't think she came off well in it.

And I was absolutely not surprised that her son had loads of issues with drugs etc.

Anyone else see The Dotted Line, the one about the agents?

I thought Richards came off as a bit of a hypocrite. She expressed a wish to live her life in private, to be normal and not call attention to the fact the she changed gender ... but then she does a Dean Martin Celebrity Roast and works the (limited at that time) entertainment talk show circuit? How does that jive? The doc never let her off the hook for that, perhaps she was given bad advice by her representation or something.

Unless I missed it, it was also never adequately explained how a leading eye doctor in Manhattan is having money problems.

Seems to me that self-absorption was Richards' issue, whether male or female.

The series returns this Sunday (March 11) with The Announcement, which is on Magic Johnson's announcement that he had HIV.

I was walking up to work at PVCC when I found out.

Will they show the announcement, with perhaps the poorest choice of words ever?

Will "journalists" who attempted to say Magic wasn't completely honest regarding how he "attained" HIV get a chance to spout their garbage?

    Should be a good one.

Broke looks like it could be good -- it's about athletes who go bankrupt. But seeing as how it's from the director of "The U" and it features Bernie Kosar, I'm sure it will be a softball sympathy piece that blames everyone else. I'm also betting on a special commentary appearance by Dan LeBatard.

Ditto. But haven't they done some lengthy feature on Bo recently? Maybe that was Real Sports or something. The Broke one looks excellent as well.

Just in case anyone else is curious, I looked up the subject of each (though some of them are obvious)

Broke — athletes with money problems, including Bernie Kosar, Andre Rison and Cliff Floyd

    9.79* — Ben Johnson

There’s No Place Like Home — about a guy trying to buy the original rules of basketball document and bring them back to Kansas

Benji — Ben Wilson, a Chicago high school basketball star who was murdered just before his senior season

Ghosts of Ole Miss — the integration of Ole Miss in 1962, when Ole Miss also had one of its best-ever football teams

You Don't Know Bo — Bo Jackson
