I admit I had to look up "J-date." That much smarter now ...

Looked up the season finale and could only find a handful of the musicians in this episode.

    Here's who I spotted ...

    Mary J. Blige
    Elvis Costello
    Clay Aiken
    Sheryl Crow
    Adam Levine (Maroon 5)
    Wyclef Jean
Cyndi Lauper (I'm not sure who the black dude was singing with her)
    Norah Jones (I think)
    Sara Bareilles
    Moby
2/3 of the Beastie Boys (don't know who the other rapper was with them)
Possibly Michael McDonald and another Moody Blue

Cyndi Lauder: "I'm the drunk one"

There's 600 million kidneys in America
    We only need 300 million
    That leaves half.
    Do the math

Lemon: (full of cheesy Happy Days-like sentiment) "Well, it's been quite a year."

Donaghy: (great comedic pause) "It's only May"

Aiken: "I had my limo drop me off."

Costello: "then how I come I saw you in the subway."

Aiken: "Yeah, well what were you doing down there?"

That was definitely Michael McDonald, with Steve Earle (!) standing next to him.

    My favorite two lines:

"Science was my most favorite subject, especially the Old Testament." - Kenneth

"I have the entire liberal media establishment at my disposal, the same manipulation machine that got Barack Obama elected and donate all of that money for Rainstorm Katrina." - Jack

I also like "It was just like Peter did to Jesus, in science class." Or however that went.

The dude from Maroon 5 just slayed me. "I'll do it, but I'm going to punch Costello in the back of the head." And his Eastern European accent was awesome.

And I also loved, "I'm talking to you, gay kid." "Who told?"

And the double thumbs-up put it way, way over the top.

Loved Alda's line: "A grown man crying about a chicken and a baby? I thought this was a comedy show." Great MASH reference there.
