Great season, great finale. Whoever booked the music cameos was off the charts. I was impressed when they dropped Costello, Aiken and Levine in one scene.

Favorite line of the episode? "Rainstorm Katrina." Baldwin might be better at playing an uber-Republican than Colbert sometimes.

Holy shit, that went right past me. That's absolutely brilliant.

I'm always impressed by the things you only pick up the second time you watch an episode. Like Tracy's high school is Frank Lucas High School, which is a nod to the Denzel Washington character in "American Gangster." Outstanding ...

I think it was probably a nod to the actual Frank Lucas rather than the actor who protrayed him.

A great finale to a great season. Best show on TV.

Rainstorm Katrina was fantastic. The shots taken at the GOP over the years are priceless. Does any remember Cheney calling Jack about MILF Island?

I have not seen this many ticked off Hillbillies since CVS put the cold medicine behind the counter.

    Mother of God.
Me, too. And I'm a HUGE fan of MASH.
How on earth did that blow past me?!? And, you know, I thought at the time "well, that was a strange little scene," especially since Alda had been to Jack's office a couple of times already. The shoutout to MASH never even occurred to me.
    That's bloody brilliant.

Brilliant was the exact word I said out loud ... well, to myself ... when Alda uttered that chicken and baby line. That was a great epsiode. Bummer that the season is over.

in fairness, he did say it was a nod to the character denzel played, not to denzel.

Dammit, I wish I knew more about MASH, as that line clearly went right over my head.

Yeah, sorry to be this way, but I think more of 30 Rock's viewers know of Frank Lucas from American Gangster than they did from the actual Frank Lucas and his career. As if most people first heard about AG and were like "Oh, yeah, Frank Lucas. Good they did a movie about him."

Back on topic: "I guarantee every one of you will become President of the United States."

If you stayed all the way to the end of your DVR recording, you saw the "Little Stranger Inc." photo switched from Tina's baby to a shot of a teenage Tina with Elvis Costello and another guy (Jeff Richmond??). Tina's wearing an Elvis Costello tour shirt, too.

Another great nod to end an epic episode.
