Just saw it a second time, and I missed the part where Clay Aiken is Kenneth's cousin. Nice.

Rhett Miller of the Old 97's was in the back left.

I know there was a girl between him and Moby, but I have no idea who she was.

And it's a 3-year-old joke now, but anytime somebody pronounces Spaceman, it's good for a residual laugh. It's hard to pull off total incompetence as well as he does ...

I don't even care what he says. His voice and face when he says his lines cracks me up.

Was that Rachel Dratch (sp) who played Jenna's half-sister on the talk show? If so, that is fantastic.

I thought that 30 Rock had an uneven year. There were some great jokes, but the plot lines (Salma Hayek, Liz adopting a kid) really went nowhere.

Rachel Yamagata, Talib Kweli were in there too.

Dratch was originally supposed to play the Jenna part, but NBC made Fey fire her and if memory serves, they had to re-shoot the pilot as a result.

Dratch is really funny, but I think she would have been wrong in that part.

To make up for it, Fey was gonna have Dratch be a guest star in every episode, playing a different character each time. I think it lasted 3 or 4 episodes in the first season until they wisely scrapped that plan.

From the "too much time on their hands" dept., every single word uttered by Tracy Morgan during the past season:

  11. Show is brilliantly written, which is why you miss jokes. They come so fast, you're still laughing at the last one when the next one lands.
