Have the ratings improved yet? I know it will be renewed because NBC isn't about to cancel a show that wins that many Emmys every year, but that's got to be the worst time slot on television, opposite Grey's and CSI, two top 10 shows.

NBC axes "Earl," "30 Rock" to midseason:

IIRC, 30 Rock didn't start right away this season either. I don't remember if it was bumped because of SNL Weekend Update or something else, but I was thinking its season premiere came some time in October last year.

    "I don't know how to say this ... Dia-beet-us?"

"Organ donation is no laughing matter ... so I apologize for that."

Whenever I see the Killers song "Spaceman" pop up on iTunes, I can't help but always pronounce that name "Spuh-che-men"

    And so was Robert Randolph.

I think we've managed to list all of them.

Midseason isn't exactly accurate for 30 Rock. It sounds like it will debut in late October or early November.

I'm glad Earl is gone. That show went from surprisingly good to mediocre to bad pretty fast, but I haven't seen the last season.

Once Earl dropped the checking-off-the-list format, really dropped off a lot. The half-season in jail, lots of other odd arcs. Still taped it, still laughed a few times every episode, but wasn't as spot-on as in previous years.

I stopped watching when he went to jail.

I think Little Chubby should get his own spin-off series, starring Norm MacDonald

Question for anyone who saw last week's episode. When Alec Baldwin stepped in front of the high-def camera, it showed a younger version of him, and I'd swear it was from a movie scene but I can't place it. Does anyone know what movie that was?

I think it was Glengarry Glen Ross.

I am kinda sad. I am the biggest fan of this show, but its been pretty disappointing this year. its hit some high spots but not near as consistently funny in prior years.
