So the balloon was tethered down, untied by the boy and before it lifts off he gets inside?

 

I think he'd have to climb in before untethering. It wouldn't stay put very long once set free

Just throwing it out there, but this is the anniversary (22 years, I think) of Baby Jessica falling into the well.

Oct. 14-16, according to Wikipedia. I made a crack about how it's Baby Jessica in reverse, or something like that.
