God help those parents if they were in any way in on this little prank. And, yeah, NOW it's fine to bash away.

    Everybody, now!

There's a hole in my heart,

    As deep as a well,

    For that poor little boy,

    Who's stuck halfway to hell,

Though we can't get him out,

We'll do the next best thing,

    We go on TV,

    And sing, sing, sing.

And we're sending our love down the well,

    All the way down.

We're sending our love down the well,

    Down that well

And for punishment, some morning show will fly the family out to New York for a week's stay for an interview. God Bless America.

    From AP:

FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- A 6-year-old Colorado boy feared to have floated off in a helium balloon has been found safe at his home, hiding in a cardboard box in the garage attic.

Sheriff Jim Alderman turned to reporters during a news conference and held thumbs up and said, "He's at the house." Alderden said an investigator on the scene saw the boy and he was fine.

He said the boy apparently has been in the attic the whole time.

The boy's brother had said he saw 6-year-old Falcon Heene get in the balloon before it took off. The flight last two hours and spanned 50 miles and set off a frantic search.

You know what feels good? Being right all the time.

I called bullshit two hours ago and got bitched at.
